One day you just have to get on 82nd and sunnyside and walk all the way north. You’ll def have at least one adventure.

This was the very first bar I’d been to! My coworkers took me there for my 21st birthday. Not surprisingly, I don’t remember much… just the sign (of course!) that the dirt cheap drinks.

One of the things I love about Portland is that people here have a sense of humor :)

The sign makes me laugh softly every time I go to Vegetarian House. I am immature, sorry.

Walking up those stairs is like walking intp some freaky Tarantino film.

The one thing my Dad’s cousin remembered from her visit to Portland about 20 years ago was, “There was this restarant called…” and I knew what she was going to say right away. Apparently the drinks have always been lethal.

I swear.
