Vancouver

I learned it from books that it’s such a warm and beautiful city. But to go there is almost a fantasy. Hope one day I’ll add another entry when I’ve already in Vancouver.

I live fairly close and I’m always grumbling about how I’ve never been out of this country. Its almost stupid not to go.

It has been a while since I’ve been there but I remember a very vibrant and a very beautiful city. I’d love to go back!

Well I stayed for 4 days and I loved the multicultural atmosphere you could even breathe!!!!!! People are very nice and everythng looks so perfect!! A bit expensive to be honest….but it is worth it!

I visited Vancouver for 2 days before heading up to Whistler. I went in December. It was cold but not brutally so. Vancouver is full of coffee shops open 24 hours a day, cute boutiques, and it seems as though thousands of sushi restaurants.

The Anthropology museum at UBC, Stanley Park, and Granville Island are must sees.

was too short. We stayed 1 night and got on a boat north in the morning. What little we saw though was beautiful. I’ll spend a week next time.

Stayed there for two weeks. Biked at Stanley Park, took the Sky train, went to a football game, strolled around the city, etc. There is so much fun in the city and had a great time there. Wish I could live there!

Went last summer and was disgusted by Hastings, the obsene chasm between rich and poor and the superficial “we’re so green and cool” bullshit. Get a soul. Seriously.

I live in Seattle, so I’m only a 3 1/2 hr drive away from the border. In the past, my family would come up to spend a day in Vancouver. I would go to the Goldilocks Bakery to get some good Filipino pastries! This is the place to go if you are under 21 and want to go drinking (legal age is 19!). They’ve got a night scene in Vancouver.
