Newcastle

I don’t live far from Newcastle, in fact, I live in South Shields, a coastal town about 10miles from Newcastle City Centre. This city is possibly the best city in th UK! It has shopping, nightlife, art, music, theatre, historic sites and plus some of the most polite and friendly people. It is truly a beautiful, interesting, curious and varied city and I would recomend anyone to go there!

I have done since I was 18 months old and I probably will for a while yet.

Been living there for 4 months and I wont leave till 5 more have passed.

I moved to Newcastle right after I graduated from highschool in the U.S. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Newcastle as this is where my fiance is from, but I cannot wait to move back to the states. I’m not too much into going clubbin, so Newcastle’s nightlife isn’t so much for me.

It’s got awesome sites to see though. Like Wallsend,Tynemouth Priory, and the coast is just stunning.

Went here for a friend’s 21st birthday a couple of year’s ago – had great bars and clubs. I also went to the Metro shopping centre, which was huge. We then stayed in a log cabin in the middle of park and forest land, which was really chilled out. Recommended.

Not a surprise if you know Newcastle.

Newcastle helped make friends, and changed my life. It sounds rediculous, but I love it so much.If it wasn’t for the daily treks me & my best friend Sam made, I wouldn’t be the person i am today :]

I’ve been to England four times in my life and never visited the north of country. Newcastle attracts me the most, because of its gorgeous bridges, architecture, modern art and Geordie accent.

It seems like a thriving little cultural hub and I’d like to visit the Baltic, as well as take a walk over the bridge (the new flip-down one). The furthest north I’ve got (apart from an overnight visit to Edinburgh which will NEVER be repeated) was a weekend in York. There’s much more of the UK I want to see, and Newcastle is high on the list.
