Amazing city. Clean, quite, cold and culturally perfect. I love the Vigeland’s park.

Olso: is in Norway which is in Europa. The Norway is a old dream: I want to go here since child. It’s a country which there is wonderfull horse and I love it. The climate is cold. But for there isn’t problems because I love it. The snow is the thing more wonderfull of the world it’s magic. I love too do sky with my family (I do it since that I have 4 years). And Olso is a good city for study because there is a lot of university. There is a lot of sport. I love sport, give energy and is good for do friends.
In this city there is a lot of tranport: airport, is very good for travel; by the sea, is good too because you can go with boat is others citys; there is the train, you can travel in every country and in the city; but there is public transport, bus, metro: is very nice for visit the city and walk. I love visit city without needing take taxi. With the public transport you can meet people. The train is nice too because you can travel in the country without your family and very fun. It’s fun for the young people.
In this city there is a lot of cultural place. Like museum, monument etc… I love visit museum but you can know the city historique. It’s like Paris with his million of museum.

I am sure that I wouldn’t regret going to Oslo (Norway, Europe).
In fact, this is another top city in the world.
Oslo has a humid continental climate. Summers are mild or even warm, with daily high temperatures. The highest temperature ever recorded was 35 °C on July 21, 1901. Heatwaves occur several times every summer, from June to late August.
The winter is cold/chilly and wet. Temperatures can drop down to -20 °C or more when there is a high pressure and blue skies. Temperatures have tended to be higher in recent years.
The annual average precipitation is 763 mm, with winter being somewhat drier than summer.
The crime rate of this city is one of the tenth lowest in the world, which sounds very good for the country.
As transports, it offers trains, sea, air, and public transports, such as buses.
It also counts many institutions of higher learning, like University of Oslo, Oslo University College, Norwegian School of Management, Norwegian School of Information Technology, Oslo School of Architecture and Design, Norwegian University of Sport and Physical Education, Norwegian Lutheran School of Theology, Norwegian University of Life Sciences…
Oslo now has over 50 schools, colleges and universities in itself alone.
It also has the “Transport and Environmental Affairs” that focuses on environmental issues.
Finally, cooperation agreements have been signed with the following cities/regions:
Gothenburg, Sweden
Schleswig-Holstein, Germany
Shanghai, People’s Republic of China
St.Petersburg, Russia
Vilnius, Lithuania
and Warsaw, Poland.
Might be a beautiful city!

It was on the 31. of December 2oo6, when my parents and I went to Oslo where my sister and my nephews lives. We were there for 5 days, and saw a lot of things fx Vigelandsparken, Holmenkollen and was on a little “sightseeing” through the city. Well it wasn’t the most exciting place to go, but it was nice enough and there was a lot of nice shops in Oslo :D

I’m half Norwegian, so it’s really important for me that I’d get to visit my second homeland some day.
I’ve only been to Norway once and I was a small baby at that time, so I don’t have any memories of my father’s land.
Going especially to Oslo is very high on my list of things to do, since my father was born and raised there.
So maybe some fine day I’ll find myself there. Here’s to hoping!

thlc asks,
“Why do the police tolerate the glue sniffers, junkies, drunks and beggars that maintain a high visibility profile in some of the most spectacular parts of the city?
Is there some reason, not immediately obvious to the rest of us, why all the bums and d”

“I'm thinking of visiting Oslo between Christmas and New Year, but just wanted to check that it's not all likely to be closed/shut-down! What is Oslo like during this period? Thanks ^_^”

“Hello, we’ll be in Norway for the fifth time in two weeks. We always go on business but this time we’ll have more spare time, so any secrets? Please advise a nice place to go out and dance. Our previous experiences were absolutely dreadful. Thanks :)”
