VENICE BEACH. first place i’m going in California. i want to do this SOON.

First off, San Francisco is a lot like other large cities. It has its nice parts and its dirty parts. Some of the nice parts are the Financial District and the Pier as well as Golden Gate Park. The dirtier parts are the Haight Ashbury area and the Castro district. I enjoyed the convenience of the public transportation system, BART, METRA, and the bus systems. The way they are coordinated is amazing to me. I ejoyed the Berkley area quite a lot, excepting that I am more of a conservative than the local population, so I felt out of place. While staying in San Francisco we ventured out to Half Moon Bay and to a Hot Spring, also an absolutely beautiful beach that had lots of little tide pools we could look at little fishes. I can honestly say, San Francisco is a wonderful place to visit, but I definitely wouldn’t want to live there.

All my first memories were in Souther California. A beautiful place, busy yet peaceful. I loved going to the beach on cloudy days and watching the sea. I miss my childhood!

I really liked it! Los Angeles was the first really big city I’ve been to… so far.

I went up and down the coast of California and loved it. One of the best places was the wharf at Santa Cruz. When you walk down and get closer to the end, you start to hear a strange barking sound. You soon realize the sound is coming from the large group of seals at the end of the pier. There are holes cut out of the wood and you can look down and watch the seals slip and slide through the water and rest on the wood beams. It was the highlight of my vacation.

I LOVE EVER ASPECT OF THIS STATE, YOU HAVE A LIL BIT OF EVERYTHING. I LIVE IN THE BAY CLOSE TO SF AND I LOVE IT !

We went to see my girlfriend’s brother outside of Eureka last November. We flew into San Francisco and drove through Napa and the red woods to get to his place in the mountains. It’s a beautiful part of the country, and I will be back.

Went to San Diego, San Fransisco, and Las Angeles. I want to go back!
