Why I want to go to this place  — 6 days ago

I haven’t ever been to Mexico and I don’t currently have any plans to go. However, when I am able to afford a vacation this will be the place. I know the land is beautiful, the people, and the beaches. Oh man I really want to go…

I live in Mexico, and the greatest thing for me here is rock climbing in the beautiful natural areas of my country…

when i was 15 i started a rock climbing page to encourage people from all over the world to come practice climbing here.

now i am 21 and escalando.net has been growing through the years to become the most visited mexican rock climbing site in the web…. and the one with the most useful information for boulder and routes.

www.escalando.net has more than 1500 photos about rock climbing in Mexico that are located in [120] different sections…

go to http://fotos.escalando.net if you want to go directly to the photo section

if you are looking for information about how to get to some nice natural areas for rapell or climbing you can go directly to:
    http://rockclimbingmexico.escalando.net/

    or for bouldering:

    http://boulder.escalando.net/

There are lots of EXCELENT climbing zones in México, you should check them out!! .... if you come climbing in Mexico and need some more information, dont hesitate to send me a pm via escalando.net of a email to fortes [at] escalando.net
i will try to put you in contact with someone that really knows the routes and boulders of the areas you want to travel to!!

pd: tnx to 43places now i can see what places i haven’t gone rock climbing to!

All I can say about this place could probably be described with the adjective of joy.. Wowww.. Tijuana.. When I used to live in South California we used to travel 4 or 6 times a year to TJ.. I was young, about my 10 or 11 years.. I really loved when at dinner someone would always ask something like ” Well, are we gonna go to TJ this weekend or the next… I really loved it..

Went to the Royal Cancun all inclusive resort for my honeymoon – absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing vacation. Word of advice: be careful when on the buses. The bus drivers just say “yes” when they can’t understand you and being lost downtown is not fun.

A tip I have about this place  — 3 months ago

    Worth visiting!

If you visit Guanajuato, stay at Casa de Pita. It is located just off Plaza de Baratillo and is owned by a really nice woman. The prices are good, the place is spotless and has a lot of character. She also prepares a delicious breakfast each day for her guests.

Most rooms are privates, but she does have a small dorm room available with a bunk bed for three.

    Enjoy the beautiful plazas!!!
