Kiribati aka: Republic of Kiribati

I sailed from California to Fanning Island (Tabeuron) in Kiribati. Fantastic spot, well worth visiting, especially if you have a lot of time and don’t mind roughing it a bit.

Lived here for 7 months in 1996, while my parents were doing voluntary work there. Loved it. Lived on Abaiang, swam everyday, school finished at 1:30pm in the afternoon….
