My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. Take time to stray off the beaten track, away from the pubs and chip shops, and take in some of the wonder this area has to offer.

Arabian Tours - special points and suggestions

Arabian tours does several tours and excursions around Dubai. This may help visitors get a feel for dress codes and so on…

Important Tour Information

Sightseeing Tours

•Most of our sightseeing tours are bilingual (English/ German)

•All Arabian Adventures sightseeing tours commence from a designated meeting point. A shuttle service is provided from four respective hotels. The duration of this transfer is dependent on your hotel location and the traffic conditions. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

•There are several stops on all sightseeing tours.

•Should you wish to stay behind after the tour is completed, please inform your tour guide. Please bear in mind however that you will be required to make your own way back to your hotel.

•We recommend that you use comfortable shoes on our sightseeing tours (see also Dress Code)

Safaris

•Safaris are conducted in English only.

•Safaris are not recommended for guests with heart, neck and/ or back problems.

•Pregnant ladies cannot be accepted; however special arrangements can be made for the Dune Dinner Safari. Please speak to your representative for further information.

•There is a seating for 6 guests + I driver. The seats are as follows: 1 next to driver, 3 in the middle row and 2 in the back row. Seats cannot be pre-allocated.

•Water and soft drinks are complementary.

•Vegetarian meals are available on request. Please mention these to your representative when booking an excursion.

•We recommend that you wear closed casual shoes. Take a jumper in winter as it might get cold in the evening.

Special points for certain Sightseeing Tours & Safaris

•Dune Dinner: everything is inclusive (dune drive, drinks, food, belly dance show, camel riding, henna painting, shisha)

•Grand Canyon, Wadi Hatta, and Hijar Bani Hamid: These safaris pass some of the border towns and check posts. There may be a requirement from the local authority to check clients’ identity. Clients on these tours are advised to carry their passport as means of identification.

Dress code:

•For all sightseeing tours to Shar jah, please respect the dress code. Shar jah is more conservative. You are required to cover your shoulders and knees, i.e. no strappy tops. Any see-through clothing is also not permitted by law.

•Arabian Treasures: The same as above applies as you will enter a mosque as well as a local house.

•Dubai AI Jadeedah & City Nightlights: Please note that casual wear is not acceptable. For both these sightseeing tours no sandals, sneakers, T-shirts, shorts or jeans are allowed.

•East Coast Tour: Please do not forget your swimwear. You have the possibility of using the beach / pool during your lunch stop. The East Coast Tour passes some of the border towns and check posts. There may be a requirement from the local authority to check clients’ identity. Clients on this tour are advised to carry their passport as means of identification.

•Dubai City Tour: Our elderly and physically challenged guests have the opportunity of going by coach to the Gold Souq rather than using the abra.

•Dhow Cruise: You have a choice of sitting either on the upper or lower deck, both of which are non-smoking.

•However this is on request basis and will only be confirmed upon boarding. Should you want to smoke, a separate area is available. Dinner is buffet style and is usually served on the lower deck.

•AI Ain Tour: Please wear closed shoes in summer, since there is a stop by the dunes and the sand can get very hot.

•Please stay together as a group when visiting the camel market. The AI Ain Tour passes some of the border towns and check posts. There may be a requirement from the local authority to check clients’ identity. Clients on this tour are advised to carry their passport as means of identification.
