I went to stonehenge in May of this year, and got one of the passes to go inside the stones. On an early May morning just as the Dew was leaving the grass, and the fog was lifting, I got to walk into the center of the stones. There’s a little area which is apparently uber-off-limits that you couldn’t go into but everything else was fine, you could touch the stones and think about all the years that had passed since they were raised. They look very small from far away but are huge when seen closeup.
