I’ve been three times now. Two of my aunts live there. I love going over to spend a week there, staying in my aunt’s apartment. My family is usually about the very hardcore sightseeing, wanting to wake up early every morning for Disneyland or something, but when I went alone my morning involved walking over to House of Pies for breakfast, and eventually wandering over to a book shop with this cat named Lucy and then shopping on Melrose or walking down some random street. Los Angeles isn’t one of those cities that demands a very fast-paced touristy schedule to appreciate it.

I’m going to New York with my sister next month. I got one of those flight vouchers last time I volunteered to stay behind on a flight, and it expires if I don’t use it by the end of the year. We’ll spend about five days, and I absolutely can’t wait.

I almost went here, when I was in England last month, but it just wasn’t to be. There were only six days to begin with, and when it came right down to it, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford were more important than Stonehenge. But I’ll make it there next time.
