San Pedro

We went here on an oceanography field trip. The cliffs by the beach are nice. I like that Korean Friendship Bell too. (That’s a few blocks away from the beach.) The way the bell was decorated reminded me of Buddhist temples in China.

I moved here about 1 year ago, and at first I was like EEWWW cuz I was from “enemy territory” lol, but now I think I’ts a great place to live, There are so many nice places to visit and Lots to do It’s a True community

I am starting a web page for San Pedro Dining only. If you were a business would you join? If you were looking for a place to eat would you go to the web to find it?

And not just because Mike Watt came from here, but that’s a good reason too. No, it’s largely because my good friend Stripey, one of the two closest friends in my life, came from here, and for many years now I’ve been hosted at Thanksgiving by the family at their lovely house overlooking the ocean, looking out towards Santa Catalina. Great spot, great location, great people, a home away from home.

I grew up in San Pedro.

Say it Peedro not like the Spanish word.

this is basically where I grew up most of my life. Went to Elem, Jr and High school…. lots of great memories for a tiny city!
