Mississauga

I came to this wonderful city 14yrs. ago. Since then, it’s become my home. Not as expensive as Toronto, less crowded, diverse populace, rich art&culture things, metropolitan highlights; really an awesome place to be in. It’s definitely a city if you’re touring ON, Canada.

Hi everyone, I am new to this site,and was wondering how the site works. Can anyone fill me in.

It’s actually a nice city but I hate the family that lives there..

Born and raised here… just driving back into town makes me half cringe… I’m not sure why anyone would choose to live here.

I’ve lived in Mississauga pretty much my whole life. I love it here! Mississauga is a clean city, lots of things to see and do. Square One is the best for shopping. Lot’s of good food, Milestones, Canyon Creek, Montfort….to name a few! The city centre area and port credit are my favourite areas in Mississauga. Port Credit is awesome, everything you need right on the lake! A nice big starbucks with a patio for the summer.

Born here, lived here all my life. It’s home, and I love it, but to tourists I can’t see it being all that great.

well, there’s nothing really to say. i live here nd i relly like it here. it’s close to toronto but still far enough that we’re a safer nd prettier place to live. there’s also a bunch of cool places here like Square One mall and Iceland skate park. Billy Talents also from here, so that’s cool.

i live here so like yea ive been here, its pretty good, nice neighbourhoods, outlet malls, good schools, lots of them .

My home is Oakville, Mississauga has always been this no man’s land of suburbia/malls betweeen there and Toronto. I live in Mississauga now as I work is seven minutes away. It’s very convenient that way, yet I have no feeling of connectedness to it as a place. It’s just where my house is.

Maybe that’s because of lack of time in general, I’m not sure. I hope it will get better, but it’s unlikely, Mississauga has no real downtown, it’s too big and made up of lots of little towns. I’d guess I am getting a better sense of home from my smaller part of Mississauga, Meadowvale/Streetsville is ok.

Only time will tell.
