I only came to see the “Leipziger Buchmesse” – and my favourite author Kai Meyer read from his than new book ^^!

I want ot see my old friend who is living there and i would have a good rest

I’ve found out the dates for WGT next year, and they may or may not fall during exams. I guess I won’t know until they announce the timetable, which will really mess things up for booking hotels and that :(

MY friend Maria lives by here so I’m sure when i go visit her we will go here!

After my second visit here I like the city more than ever.
Can’t wait to return next year with even more spoken German language skills!

I’ve been getting most jealous reading acquaintances reports from WGT, and plan to go next year. Recently I’ve been learning German, so maybe I’ll even be able to make myself understood – though the guide I’m using is sadly deficient in vocabulary relating to shoes and getting trashed ;)

Leipzig is a great city—you realize that as soon as you get into town at the huge Hauptbahnhof. A definite must-see in former East Germany.

ha… i loved leipzig.. i lived there for 3 months … and it was not long enough… i recently went back this past fall… still loved it!

Two years ago I visited here for this festival and I’m returning in June to do the same again. I’m practising my German and can’t wait to be a more capable traveler with some small language ability under my belt.
The city it’self is facinating and I’m hoping to visit a little more of it this time as well as catching all the bands I want to see.

So many people I know are making plans to go to the WGT festival in Leipzig.
I don’t think it’s a practical plan this year (though who knows?) but maybe next year…
