The only state (or territory) in Australia that I haven’t been to.

I’d like to see perth, broome, ningaloo reef, margaret river, the kimberleys, rottnest island…shame they are all so far apart and so far away from the east.

    Australia  — 2 years ago

For those people who have seen Kangaroo Jack, Australia looks mostly like desert and wanka’s (australian person). It’s actually quite nice though. Once you see a few snapshots of the territory and scenory, you might like. It’s kinda like Hawaai, except for the Kangaroos that kick the crap out of you (joke).
Ha, Ha, what a jolly old place it is. Visit it sometime.

I lived in Perth for 4 years, and have recently been back to visit. It’s a gem to visit all the places I know and loved again. The wineries are great, and the beaches breathtakingly beautiful.

I loved it, its the best place I’ve ever been in my life! A lot of people tend to just go to the Eastern states when they visit Australia, but I’d definatly recommend WA. I’ve spent about a year there (over three trips) and it was brilliant. I want to go back!

life in the small town  — 3 years ago

    Worth visiting!

I’ve been to Western Australia, stayed in a small town called Fremantle for about 3 days and a week in Perth Joodnalup :)

i looooooved the small town Fremantle. It’s so cozy and warm. It’s got all you need, flea market, mall, cafe’s Al-fresco! small resto’s serving authentic australian food et al..

It’s right by the edge of australia so it’s outlined with water! beautiful sunshine and the cool ocean breeze are perfect together .. i went there on a winter and it’s a perfect winter.. no snow so not too cold :)

Perth on the other hand is where all the bars and clubs are.. i saw it as literally a town of BARS and CLUBS! we parked in one area and walked to bar-hop!

I love quiet so i loved fremantle more than the city of Perth. but i’m definitely determined to go back.. maybe even live there!

phronima asks, “I saw once on TV that there is a beach south of WA with gympsum sand, making it a pink sand beach comparable with those in the Carribean.. Would someone be kind enough to confirm and offer the name of the beach please?”
