I saw tons of wind generators all in a row. I also stayed at the Holiday Inn at Rock Springs. Very different from the Midwest, where I spent my whole life in (this was on a cross country drip moving from IL to CA). It’s very beautiful, though I can only speak from my experience during the summer. I want to go back again and see it all properly next time!

Wyoming seeps into your blood. I love the Wind River Range and the rocky soil and the glacial lakes and the Wyoming accent and the way that everybody with three acres has an enclosure with a horse on it.

Not worth it!
Maybe it was because this was the tail-end of our trip, and tensions were high… and we were there for the 4th of July, with a lame fireworks show… but I didn’t see anything worth visiting.

I love Wyoming and want to own 15 or 20 acres for scrub camping. I’d build a rustic cabin (plans coming from a great book called Rustic Retreats). It’s a rural state with lots of great ghost towns.
Wyoming is an adventure paradise.
