Dakar

Too much to say… than others will do better than me.

if u go to senegal dakar then i asure you this is one of the most breath taking places in senegal. i know i was born there. and grewing up ther was da best. i stil hav my sweet my memories

I have an cousin there who got married with children. I have never been to Africa and its a shame I have not yet taken the opportunity to visit. Will do.

So tired. So tired.

Dakar is pretty intense. Its hot and loud and messy and absolutely awesome. Seriously having trouble getting used to being back in the UK.

If you do head to Senegal, head further down the coast as well for beautiful days in a bit of peace.

I leave for Dakar tomorrow. I get to see some of Morocco on the way (well… the airport in Casablanca), but don’t get in until 2.30AM to Dakar, so am looking forward to a 4 hour wait until my Sister can come and pick me up.

Warm, friendly, generous, and oh so striking people. Beautiful scenery. Gorgeous beaches. The Door of No Return on Goree Island. One of the best trips I’ve ever taken, and I hope to retire here.

whole different culture. adapt or die

My very first African city. I almost didn’t make it back! It was spectacular and dry and lonely and peaceful.

Wonderfull place, with great people. Best place are below dakar, but not in “touristic camp”. Bring some tshirt, pencil or paper , buy some food and give it to little town’s chief ; childrens will be happy.
