A very clean country! Very small but very international!
    The transportation are very easy…
My problem is only the languange…”sing-lish”...for my bad ears is kinda hard to understand…
    It’s a great place to hunt for books…hahaha…and of course…shopping :p
    The food are excellent!!!

Was 13 years ago. I still do remember the streets, restaurants and the sites we visited. A really nice clean country.

I have been there this year but it was only to catch a connection flight. So all I saw was the airport which was more like a shopping mall :)

Planning to go there again by the end of this year for a conference =D

... Was last year. We stayed four nights at the Miramar. Passable hotel, with a passable buffet breakfast and passable restaurant.
The city itself is quite humid and fairly smoggy (for me, anyway, I live in a small coastal town). I didn’t like it much, truthfully, although it was good to do for the sake of it.
Check out Chinatown, for shopping and browsing. And Clarke Quay for eating-out and the nightlife.
(I wrote an entry on the Raffles Hotel in the Raffles section.)
Just looking at some of the shopping centres and public areas was interesting in itself, just due to all of the small differences in function and look to home, and also the fascination of being on holiday.
For a supposedly clean, safe city, I found Singapore surprisingly polluted, and on a nighttime walk back to our hotel from Clarke Quay (we got semi-lost) we managed to come accross some of the less desirable parts of the city.

The first time I went to this place I was a little kid. My family and I went on tour through southeast asia. I remember Singapore to be my favorite city of all the places we visited. Everything was so clean and just nice to look at.
We saw “Songs of the Sea”, ?Merlin Park? and other attractions
I was in awe the whole time we stayed there.
I’d love to go there again some time

    Worth visiting!

On our way home from Holland in 1989, we had a 3 day stop-over in Singapore. We stayed in the flashes Hotels I’ve ever seen & we had an awesome view of the harbour & down town from our bedroom window. We went to the beautiful bitanical gardens, on a bus tour around old Singapore & went to the local market. The food there is lovely & dirt cheap. It was huge fun & we had a blast, but we were there just long enough to think of other places we wanted to visit. I didn’t want to leave.

Amazing lil’ city. Could probably cover the whole place in about 3-4 days tops.

recommend checking out ChinaTown and Little India (although the latter is a wee bit dirty).

to Party → Clarke Quay! The night scene on certain nights are fun.. check out the Clinic ( or C clinic can’t remember the name ) the booze on an IV is a pricey but makes wicked photographs for later ;-)

Oh and Brewsterz (or something really close) at clark quay. they brew their own beer. It was pretty good ! Singaporter.. check it out you don’t get that everywhere
