Worth visiting!
Visited Uruguay every 3months to renew my Passport, they’ve held on to their heritage really well. It was a bit like looking into the past.

I lived in Montevideo for a year after High School. It is a beautiful, often-overlooked country. I can’t wait to return.

Not worth it!
I was ending my vacation in Punta del Este which has numerous yachts, beautiful people, quality restaurants, and a sleepless nightlife. I returned to Montevideo that same night and ran into the carnival. Exciting time to be.

Colonia is very pretty but don’t plan on staying there for long. Lots to do in Montevideo and decent nightlife. That’s about as much as I know.

I went out with this great guy Gustavo from Uruguay, and he showed me all these pictures and told me all about Uruguay, and it sounds amazing. After reading about it more on Uruguay and looking at more pictures on Flickr, I’m convinced. Soon as I can afford it, I’m there!
