Salt Spring Island

I lived on SSI for about 6 months, maybe less.
We had peacocks in our yard in the first house I lived in
and in the second house we had deer and jellyfish.
The second house I lived in was beach front.
People have summer homes there…so if you want a beach front place for cheap you can go live there in the fall and over the winter.
I loved it.

i did nothing, which was perfect. great island for road biking. good hills, decent roads and not too much traffic…

SSI is great for getting around by foot. The Saturday market is so awesome… tons of organic produce and garlic braids! There are lots of wonderful cob homes around the island. I would love to build one.

Id love to disapear and live out this existance sustainably and in balance

Stayed in a Teepee – fantastic. Walked from hostel to lovelly stony beach and sunbathed all day. Canoed with sea otters and sea planes flying over head.

Best blueberries I’ve ever had, period. Near the public pier on the northeast side of the island.

My uncle lives here so I’m hoping to visit when I go to Vancouver next summer.

I was with my church youth group who goes every summer. We went all around the island doing work projects for anyone that needed them. I love this place, all the people are great!

I ended up finding Salt Spring in 43places after clicking on my Canim Lake Cheer from member “Waterfall”.
I used to live on Salt Spring, my mom still does, my best enemy and bossom budy girlfriend still does, and there is so much I would say.
The culture is beautiful, the island is beautiful, and my mom is beautiful. The ocean is fun, the lifestyle is fun, my girlfriend is fun. My mom and girlfriend and so many other islanders that I would like to mention are awesome. Few better places to be.
