It changed within the past year. It was done as obvious veneration, but moreso to alleviate confusion amongst people trying to locate addresses. The street used to be called Aurora Ave., despite having it be below the Aurora Bridge. At the time, I’m guessing they figured there would be no businesses on the bridge itself. However, the few people who ran businesses or lived on that hill underneath the bridge would never get their cab rides or pizza delivered due to mass confusion on address location.
