Ibiza isnt what it used to be but then few places are. It is still worth a visit, esp if you havent been.

it’s lovely in parts, very quiet and really beautiful. Be careful in taxis – don’t drink too much beforehand as they’re a bit fast and furious over there! It’s expensive in parts, the clubs are pricey. I stayed in Cala Llonga which was very peaceful – hence the need for taxis to get around. You can go horseriding along the clifftops with a guy called Juan – it was amazing. We also all loved Ibiza town, lively at night, the harbour is great for people-watching and lots of yummy food!

I always use http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/
These folks run a local newspaper about the white island and I always found the site quite up-to-date.
