A question about this place:
I am relocating from New Zealand to Newbury for work with Vodafone. I need to stay somewhere when I arrive (they are paying). What's a good place to stay in the town?

Have you tried looking on the vodafone intranet? Or asking NZ and/or UK HR to give you some help/suggestions?
Alternatively, look on www.newburytoday.co.uk, which is the webpage for the main local newspaper, the Newbury Weekly News. It has some links to estate agents and may have accommodation listings (although I couldn’t find them). Maybe e-mail the NWN?

I’ve left VFNZ now, so I can’t get access to it anymore :-(
However, I’ve just found out (minutes ago) that I should be staying at the Hilton when I first arrive, then going to a serviced flat that they are sorting out. So, that sounds alright.
Thanks for the link for the newspaper too. I’m sure that’ll come in handy.
