Hello, the average temperature can range from 70 to 90 degrees during the summer and yes it is quite cool in the late evenings. I have seen it snow many times in September and even as late as May. I lived in this area for over 20 yrs, and it is one of the most beautiful places in my opinion on earth. Infact in about a year I plan on moving back there, the hot, and humidity here in Tennessee just doesn’t do much for me, however the bass fishing is great and the growing season is longer, but I miss the mountains. I love camping and getting up to that brisk morning air, really gets your blood pumping …well that is after you get the coffee on…lol. Sure hope you get to see it, you won’t regret it.
