I’m not going to be too much help, since I’m a student and haven’t done much job-hunting here. I’d start by checking the usual job-search sites, doing a little research into what companies in your field have offices here, and go from there. Good luck!

Drop Tim Glennie an email. He knows the Boulder/Denver technical recruiting and job market very well.
You can contact him through bridgeviewit.com

I actually am going through the job hunt right now. There’re a lot of tech-firms here. Not sure about head-hunters; I’d contact the firms directly. Try Monster?

Thanks for the reply. I will probably try both approaches. Good luck with your search.

I don’t live there (I am in the UK) but my son has just spent 10 months in the area working for Sun.
IBM is the biggest tech employer in Boulder and Sun Microsystems (with Storage Tek) are based in nearby Broomfield but most Sun employees live in Boulder. As you probably know there are lots of tech firms in the area – why not contact the firms directly?
Good Luck!

Strange, I was thinking of doing the exact same thing, except with more of a next-spring timeframe. Definitely curious to see how it turns out for you.
