The Nashville Scene comes out on Wednesdays and is available all over town.

Lower Broad (Broadway between 1st & 6th) has more country bars per block than any other part of town; Tootsie’s, Robert’s, Legends are all within a block of each other.

Nashville is a singer-songwriter town. If you venture away from lower broad you are more likely to hear these type performers (solo singer with a guitar) than any other. The Basement, where they are as likley to have a funk DJ or a rock band, check listings, Douglas Corner & the Bluebird are great places for that. The are a few Blues/Jazz (BB Kings, Bourbon Street, F. Scotts, 3rd & Lindsey, Kijiji Coffee House) and Rock (Exit/In, The End) places too.
