i’m afraid it is… June up to September are basically rainy months here in the Philippines. but i’m sure the rains won’t spoil the fun in any activities you might have in mind when you go to Davao. :)

Month of August is a perfect time to come to Davao because of the Kadayawan festival (http://www.kadayawan.com).

Great beaches, hiking (Mt. Apo in Davao is the highest peak in the Philippines), food, fruits (including the world famous mangoes, pomelo & the durian), etc.

Although, the Philippines is situated in the tropics there might be some rains but there are no cyclones or storms there all year round.

Enjoy your vacation.

Rains are intermittent in the Philippines, especially here in Davao. Just had a big rainshower last night, in the middle of summer!

Thankfully, Davao is a covered peninsula, so we are NEVER hit by storms or typhoons… The weather is always great here! A bit hot in the summertime, but not humid…

Do visit Davao… people who come here never want to leave :)

Thank you very much for that information. It’s a good thing to know that Davao don’t get hit by storms. I would be coming from Manila and I can’t really be absent for a long time because of my work. So I guess that is comforting. ^

Yes I will visit Davao because I already have a roundtrip plane ticket. I just need to look for a hotel and stuff to do for the three days that I’d be staying there. ^
