Tallahassee
No, it’s not as small as it seems. Yes, there are many things to do in both Tallahassee and outlying areas that are non-Noles oriented. However—it DOES take effort to find those things. I was here nearly a year before I acclimated to it; however, now that I’ve been here 5 years I can’t think of any place I’ve liked living more. There’s a Tallahassee LiveJournal community, communities in MySpace and FreeCycle, there’s an extensive CraigsList page for Tallahassee, and many wonderful things to do, places to eat, sights to see here. There’s everything from Sailboard Regattas at Shell Point, to Springtime Tallahassee, there’s St. George, St. Mark’s and Alligator Point for beaches, Wakulla Springs, museums, a fair amount of venues for live music, a variety of different style bars, restaurants ranging from American-style pizza (Barnaby’s Inn) to high end Latin (Las Brasas) and just about everything in-between.
In short: Tallahassee’s great for the self-motivated. Don’t expect to be entertained like you would be in downtown Orlando. But if you’re willing to look, you’ll find it here.
Hope this helps.

I did not find any cultural attractions here.
This is pretty small town in terms of size. But I guess the population pretty high. No much entertainment or things to do or see except for wakulla springs where you can go canoeing/kayaking or fishing…

I guess you don’t consider museums cultural attractions:

Or Lemoyne Galley, Gallery 621 at Ralroad Square, all the studios on Railroad Square that have openings on First Fridays, Oglesby Galley on the FSU campus, or the science museum—no culture in ANY of those places, right?
Or how about these:

Mission San Luis, The Brogan Museum, or…gasp the Capital?

I said you have to LOOK for the attractions in Tallahassee—but THEY ARE HERE.
