I heard they have the air balloon display here, I think. Is that still going on? If so when is it?

Yes, the balloon fiesta is a big event every year. This year it’s October 6-15. Check the website at http://www.aibf.org/
Albuquerque’s fine, but while you’re in New Mexico, make sure to drive north to Santa Fe, and then up maybe to Taos or maybe the high desert around Abiquiu. This northeastern boy was overwhelmed by the experience!
