Don’t live there anymore, and haven’t lived there for years… but, do have family there, and hurricanes are a way of life for almost all Floridians. Once you’ve gone through your first one, you become a “veteran” and the next is easier. Guess that you just get used to them.

The above sign was sent to me by a relative last fall after Hurricane Rita swept through Daytona. The damage was minor.

We do, just some are worse than others and some die before even reaching land and etc… many many different factors plan in on this question.
