A question about this place:
I have heard (rumors) of hearing and seeing no birds around this area. Is it true? It seems far-fetched.

As I recall, there was a tree just across the road next to the canal in front of Anne Frank House…and it was full of birds. :)

Not true, and I believe it is important to point out the huge amount of pigeons EVERYwhere in the city. And I mean everywhere. They do not seem to discriminate against which house they will and will not land on, so I am pretty sure they have flown over Anne Frank’s house at one point or another :)
