It is okey to live in Iceland. Sometime there is a lot of snow (like today) and then the traffic is a mess.
Living in Iceland is just like living in other contrys.

I only went for a visit, so I can’t say how living there must be. You may try checking out the Reykjavik Grapevine (the English language newspaper in Reykjavik) for some insight into what life is like there:
Good luck!

Well, living in general in Iceland isn’t bad. Well, there are some horrible towns like Hveragerði, stay away from Hveragerði. Reykjavik is a small town with a metropolitan image, basically. If you’re interesting and friendly, you will probably have friends in no time. Overall Iceland is cool.
And about this comment:
The food is generally VERY very sugary so if you don’t like sweet things, you’re better off with just a visit.
OK, first of all, Iceland doesn’t have any more sugary food than any other country, so this is just silly talk.
The people of Iceland believe in faeries and gnomes and dwarves and all that sort of thing and so if you like fantasy, you’ll fit right in.
This is also pretty silly. This is just old folklore, most Icelandic people don’t believe in gnomes or midgets or what.
The main reason to go would be the atmosphere because it such an untouched land.
Iceland might be untouched at the moment, but every day they talk more and more about building dams.
