Hi Todd,
There is one place I would suggest you eat while in North Dakota, right outside of Bismarch is a place called “The Alien Cafe”, it’s got good food and the place itself is interesting. If up in Minot, go to “Pizza Planet”, good pizza and lots of indoor fun stuff. For outdoor stuff visit Lake Metigoshe and rent canoes, it’s beautiful. Watch out for misquitos the size of quarters in the spring. Have fun.

The thing about North Dakota that I find so captivaing is its vastness. Go to the middle of nowhere and just take it all in- the miles of sunflowers, the cloudless sky, the tree in the far away distance, the lone farm house on the horizon. Contemplate the plight of the modern farmer. Buy some local produce. Go to a small town and attend church. You will find that the folks there are very friendly.
Eat at Zorbaz! I know that there is one in Minnesota just over the line, but I don’t know about in ND. There are a few around near Fargo.

Thanks. I grew up surrounded by farm country, so I would enjoy seeing the farm land and buying local produce.
