Alot depends on where you are staying, and when you are coming… in June there is a street festival and also Bard in the Botanics.
If you’ve only got a short time to visit, I would recommend the West End of Glasgow. You can visit the new Riverside Museum, the Kelvingrove Museum, University of Glasgow, and Botanic Gardens. Off Byres road is Ashton Lane, a cute area with places to eat and drink. Also by the Botanic Gardens is Oran Mor, a former church where you can catch music and eat/drink. All that can be done via walking, and would cover one day.
Another day could be spent visiting city centre, Necropolis (our cemetery modelled after the Père Lachaise in Paris), Glasgow Green (with Templeton Carpet Factory, People’s Palace & Winter Gardens, Doulton Fountain), followed by a walk along the River Clyde.
