Aside from Lollapalooza? Grant Park will be mega crowded.

Millennium Park is good. Chicago Cultural Center is good. Both are at the northwest corner of Grant Park. The Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium are at the south end of Grant Park. Both are really top-rate. There is a walking/biking trail along the lakefront. The Art Institute, which has a beautiful new wing for modern art, is just south of Millennium Park.

Chicago Architecture Foundation runs a bunch of walking tours from it’s location at Jackson and Michigan.

You should find no shortage of things to do.
