Piece of advice..Don’t stay long in New York..It’s not that interesting , You just have to visit Time square , The empire state , Wax Museum , National Museum and central bay…and if you want a nice place for lunch try going to Boat Bay ..

I find that visiting the museums in NYC is always a good time. They are large and (at least when I lived there) pay what you feel they’re worth (though they do have a suggested amount.) My favorite is the Museum of Natural History followed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I personally think New York is amazing. Some great places that tend to be overlooked are Greenwich Village and the New York Public Library – trust me, the building’s amazing! Have fun!

there are so many cool things my best suggestion would be, yes, hit the major tourist stops, but they arent the best part. spend as much time in central park as possible. see Bethesda fountain, and all the statues. i would also go to SoHO and the village, there is always amazing art and shopping down there. Go to little Italy and what not, those kinda of places have all the culture. one of my favorite places in the city is Astor place. find the places that arent mobbed by tourists 24/7. ride the Staten Island ferry, go to the est side eatery on 91st street.

I would also say Central Park, Staten island, Times square. To have a great rooftop view, perhaps Top of the Rock instead of the Empire State Building – then you’ll have the view of it too.

I loved to wonder around to see the bridges too, day and night.

Even if you don’t have much time it’s one of the best place to go is the Rockfeller Center, i liked more than the Empire State (because it have a greater view, and you can see the Empire State Building as well!)

And think about adding to your ending afternoon a litlle Central Park, the sunset is beautiful from the inside ;)
