you can fly to Istnabul and then take a bus to Bodrum ,

that is where you can find many charter for daily or weekly sailing charters.

every one is friendly and speaks English,

it is cheaper to do that iN bodrum instead of making arrangements all the way from US,

Bus from Istanbul to Bodrum,it is fun and cheap,

it is fun ride, they stop in god restaurants for lunch, tea and coffee breaks

You can find a few companies online and sail from several harbours. I think the most common (ie with the most choice) would be Fetiye. We went from Oympos. No need to book in advance, as you can discuss the price in person more easily. During the summer you will have a lot of choice who to go with and there will be departures every day.
