“What are some places in Seattle you recommend seeing? How do i become an "Official Resident"?”

I’d get the touristy stuff out of the way first:

- seattle center

- pike place market

- pioneer square (esp. the underground tour)

- ride the duck

- fremont troll

- ride the monorail

Just so you can say you’ve done that and gripe about how touristy it is when talking with fellow locals :)

Then you can see some of the more out of the way things like:

- Woodland Park Zoo

- Walk around Greenlake

- See a movie at Cinerama

- Uwajimaya in the Int’l District

- Madison beach (when the weather warms up)

That should keep you busy for a while!

You become an official resident after living there for 1 year. If you have a current utility bill to show, some companies or schools will consider that as proof of residency. They call it “Intent to stay”.

Hope that helps
