“I'm moving Las Vegas in 2 months so my fiance can go to school. I'm a waitress by trade. Was wondering how the job market is, about the reliability of public transit and any other tips that might be helpful for a newbie :)”

Job market, especially in the service sector is bad right now as Las Vegas is typically a luxury destination and not many people these days can afford that luxury. 20-30k people are unemployed from LVs peak, so I would recommend going to technical school and learning a trade, as the 2nd biggest employer in LV is the federal government after the Casinos. Public Transit is ok, but not frequent enough, usually running every 1/2 hour or one hour once you get away from the LV strip. Good luck.
