Praha, Bohemia

tenaya asks,

“My friends and I are coming to Prague for 2 days on a Wed and Thur in July. We are all students so does anybody have any hostel recommendations that are affordable and in good locations? Also, where should we eat and go clubbing for a good price?”

hi there—

my favorite hostel there is http://www.miss-sophies.com/.

i’ve stayed there twice, once in a shared room and once in an apartment. if you have a bunch of people, the apartment is hella nice.

have fun in prague!

This one is great. I hope they still take reservations this month.

Have fun!

I don’t really have any recommendations for restaurants, other than that you shouldn’t go to the ones on the main streets. They’re tourist traps, with bad overpriced food. just step into a side street and it will be much nicer.

Have you tried couchsurfing.com? Not only will you find ppl that will give you free lodging – a lot of them (Danny! Vlad!) are super nice and well-informed, and can show you the best, most fun going-out spots in the city!! :)
