They have a lovely downtown area with lots of historical places. Also, I’m pretty sure there are several tours with themes, such as places in “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil,” haunted tours, and probably historic tours as well. If you like Paula Dean, both she and her brother have restaurants in the area, but they are hard to get in to. Tybee Island is about 20 minutes drive outside of Savannah proper and is beautiful with good restaurants (including the Crab Shack) and a gorgeous beach. Hope that helps!
