There is an incredibly awesome place called “WildSpring Guest Habitat” that is 3 hours south of Depoe Bay, right outside of Port Orford. It might be further south than you’d like to go, but I can’t think of any place more romantic ANYWHERE.

The stretch of coast from Port Orford, south to the CA border is absolutely astounding.

I just booked this for my husband and my first wedding anniversary. We stayed here one time on our first trip down the coast for one night, by chance. I’ve never felt more at peace with the world than here. I’ve done quite a bit of traveling to very beautiful places and WildSpring is tops.

:) There’s a hot tub overlooking the Pacific, lots of beachcombing, art galleries in town, hiking, biking and even the best sunset in the west—Cape Blanco State Park is the western-most point in the continental U.S. Wine + cheese + sunset = ROMANCE!
