honestly, i would think about scouring the new orleans craigslist section and see if you can find a cheap vacation rental for the days you’ll be there. sometimes you can find much better deals this way – especially during that period in july since things will fill up fast due to the annual essence music festival over 4th of july weekend. best of luck!
