Are these two separate questions? My husband would say that Vancouver is the root of all insanity (no sun, therefore no vitamin D, especially critical for his dark complexion) – but then again, he’s American and from California. ‘Nuff said.

Born & raised here. I guess you get used to the cost! Is it really that much more expensive than Winnipeg? Employment certainly isn’t an issue, especially with the Olympics coming (sarcastic cheer). Rent can be really reasonable if you look in the right spots – I’m downtown for 1K in a 2bdrm (old heritage house).
