It’s been about 11 1/2 yrs since we’ve moved back.
I’m sorry I can’t really answer this for you. When I was there, I was 15.
Good Luck to you in the future. And let me know how things go. I miss Guam so much.

I left there in 1992, but there aren’t a lot of opportunities outside of the hospitality and tourism industry. That might be a good thing for someone with a PR degree. Good luck and Hafa Adai!

I am with the other 2…there really are not that many jobs…but it has been 6 years since I lived there. I was a scuba instructor so I was in a perfect location for that occupation. Before that, I worked at one of the major hotels. The people are modest so if you care more about living in paradise and less about making money, you may do just fine.
P.S. I hope you like outdoor and water activities because that is really all there is to do…

Hotel/tourist industry, shipping, and the military industry are huge on Guam. If you have a PR degree, you might be able to get into the hotel/tourist industry esp. if you speak Japanese!
Good luck and Hafa Adai!
