Try Mama’s Fish House kind of near the Airport in Maui. It’s delicious and the view of the ocean is awesome. Give it a try! You won’t be sorry!

Our favorite place is Da Kitchen, though the atmosphere isn’t good enough to stay…we got our food to go and ate at a nearby park.
Lahaina has a bunch of good places to choose from. Cheeseburger In Paradise….the restaurant to the left of it…I forget the name, has great seafood.
Have a blast!

I don’t have a very good lunch place suggestion BUT i would highly recommend packing up a picnic and driving out to Ke’anae peninsula. there’s nothing to do there but its gorgeous, waves crashing on the rocks and all that. There’s an old church there that survived a tsunami and they have a little stand that sells shaved ice and some tasty banana bread. Ke’anae was my favorite spot on the island by far.

Thanks guys – I will try Da Kitchen this year (never have) and I already planned on taking my mom to Mamma’s fish house. And to round it out, Ke’anae is on my list … ‘preciate it.

Hey Dan -
Da Kitchen was my recommendation as well but everyone beat me to it. We also like Maui Taco but likely a bit too pedestrian for most.

Da Kitchen it is, Weston. I’ll check it out tomorrow.
I’ve been to Maui Taco and that’s always a good stop.

At the Lahaina mall they have this mexican restaurant that has $1 tacos sometimes. The mall also has a luau. The performances are done by this wonderful family whose mother passed away…it was my favorite luau I’ve ever been too.

The closest I get to a local pick is Tokyo Tei in Wailuku.
Two more vacationer spots that I’d be glad to go have lunch at are the wonderful Haliimaile General Store and Matteo’s Pizzeria an almost reasonably priced pie, down in beautiful Wailea.
