The rehearsals are taking place at Powell Symphony Hall and the performance itself is at The Pageant . They’re both just west of downtown via Delmar Blvd, from what I see.
I’m thinking of staying at the Sheraton in downtown near central station, just for public transit ease. Not sure where to rent an amp though! I think this is where I can potentially be saved via 43placers.

We stayed at the Drury Plaza hotel. It was wonderful. They gave you free tickets for alcoholic beverages and snacks down in the pool area, and it is a gorgeous old hotel. I don’t know where your symphony is, but the hotel is right downtown near a convention center. You could walk to the arch if necessary, it’s close but not right next to it.
