well uh, people don’t really dress like that. You’re gonna see a lot of knowck off Bebe stuff. My advice to you is just to get a lot of stuff made while you are there. Either bring your favorite pieces to duplicate or bring lots of magazine cut outs to show. Try a place called Tropic for custom clothes.

gilbz(sp?) provides some good leads, but mainly for the more upper-crust touro types. any tour round the hardcore touro zone between dong khoi, le thanh ton, ham nghi and le loi streets will turn up several malls, local and even japanese shops for the gear happiiex3 seeks.
a fashionable young lady here, though - definitely not me - says she buys duds like that at several of many shops on Le Van Sy street between the vo-thi-sau and hoang van thu streets. (i forget the district, but u shud be able to find those streets on any touro map.)
Note: english might not be available and, if no prices posted, non-vietnamese may have to bargain off as much as 100%+ to get to locals’ prices…
