I never spent any time in a hotel in Spain so I can’t help but wonder what you are wondering.

I had a great hotel stay in Barcelona. The swimming pool was on the roof. It was part of the silken corporation I think…let me know if you want more info.

Not sure why, but I know that I’ve stayed in some decent hotels in Spain.

The Spanish have to be good with hotels because their main business is tourism, if they cannot provide hotels of varying stars across their country then they lose their tourist trade. With so many time share resorts setting good standards (not all of them) they have to keep up.

They have a great choice of accommodations in Spain from Camping to 5 star luxury, I have stayed in many campsites and many luxury hotels here in Spain and I have only ever had an issue with one in the 15 years I have been touring around.

Thanks. I have lived in Spain for the past 10 years but my parents were bringing me to Spain from the age of 2 for holidays. I have spent a lot of time working in the time-share industry which takes me close to the hotel industry also and apart from anything else over the years I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Spain from all degrees of stars and crap! ;)
