Oregon Coast
There’s a nice hotel in Lincoln City called the Nordic Inn. It’s priced very well & the rooms are really comfortable – every room has a view.
If you wanted to stay someplace totally different, you could book a room in Astoria – there’s a nice Inn called the Rose River Inn & their River Suite has awesome views of the Columbia River. So much to see & do, and it’s about 15 min. away from the beach/touristy towns.

Seaside and Lincoln City are too big for my taste, good for a day trip, but I wouldnt want to stay there.
Go to Rockaway Beach, take the wilson river highway to tillamook then go north through garibaldi… with a small group like that its probably not worth renting a house, but there are some very decent cheap motels there. check out

I suggest going to Oswald West State Park. Take a tent. Camp in the campground and spend your time down at beach in the cove there. It is a fantastic place to be.

Brookings is great for camping, Florence has some great cabins and yurts. Trees of Mystery is really close and there are places where you can rent dunebuggies and ride the dunes all day. :)
