Not really, I live there. However there is a village that is about 6 miles from town called Fenit, that is a port that has some fishing but not much. Liebherr, a German company I think, that makes huge cranes, has a factory in Killarney, 20 miles from Tralee and they brings the crane parts by road through Tralee to Fenit and ships them out from there.
